This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of users information on usaged of Cyclo App present in Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
We use users personal data to provide and improve the service. By using the service, user agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
The app provides a functionality to listen to music while riding. To achieve this functionality, the app needs to collect information about the music files that are present on the device. This information is not shared to the server and only used locally. This functionality and data reading is completely optional and only required when user opts in to play music while riding and setting up Cyclo Music Integration.
The following functionalities in the app needs access to camera or photo library on the device: * Profile functionality where a user can upload their personal profile picture * Ride functionality where a user can upload a photos of their ride The photos captured by the camera or photo library are uploaded to the server and tied to the user account. This photos are not shared with any third party and are not used for tracking purposes. The only usage of them is personalization. The user can opt out of this by deciding not to upload a profile picture and not uploading images for rides they created.
The application provides functionality to make SOS calls to your emergency contacts while riding. To set the number of emergency contacts, app provides functionality to choose contacts from their phone contacts on the device. This data is not shared with any third party and only stored on our server as emergency contacts for the user. This data is also not used for any tracking purposes. This functionlity is completely opt in and user can skip giving access to contacts by entering emergency contact details manually instead of going through phone directory route.
The core feature of the app is to create live rides and track their route, performance along the whole ride. To do this, the app needs access to live location of the user when the app is in foreground and while the app is in background. A user can move the app to background while doing a ride to attend phone calls, open their favorite music app and many more reasons. Hence the app needs to fetch location when in background mode too. The location data is stored to the server with the ride details. This data is not shared with any third party and not used for any tracking purposes. This functionlity is completely opt in and only required when the user will like to create a ride using the app.
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, Your Personal Data may be transferred. We will provide notice before Your Personal Data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
Under certain circumstances, the Company may be required to disclose Your Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).
